Lightweight waterproof protection for your caravan awning area.

This RVSUNSHADES Standard V1 waterproof privacy screen measures 4.6 m wide × 2.0 m high and is intended for compatible 16 ft caravan awnings. Its light-grey finish helps maintain natural light while providing a rain barrier and added privacy.

Will this screen fit my awning?

Measure the usable straight section of your awning sail track before ordering. This screen is 4600 mm wide × 2000 mm high and has a dual-keder edge with 5 mm and 7 mm splines.

Do not choose by caravan length alone. Confirm both the screen dimensions and usable sail-track length.

Standard V1 compared with Premium V2

Premium V2 is the current replacement range. Standard V1 is the earlier, lighter-duty version. V1 is being phased out, is available only while remaining stock lasts and will not be restocked.

Installation and correct orientation

  1. Confirm whether the 5 mm or 7 mm keder matches your sail track.
  2. Feed the matching keder into the open end of the track and slide the screen into position.
  3. Install it with the RVSUNSHADES logo facing outward to help protect the waterproof-coated side from UV exposure.
  4. Use the supplied straps and pegs with even, moderate tension.

Weather and care guidance

This is a rain barrier, not a structural storm wall. Remove it in strong or gusty winds. Allow it to dry before folding and storing. Excessive loading or flapping can damage the fabric, stitching, eyelets or keder.
