Awning Protector Installation Steps

Step 1: Purchase a sufficient length of sail track from a hardware store, eg Bunnings

Step 2: Fit sail track right above existing one for awning fabric

Step 3: Use this string to pull the poly cord through the sleeve to form a spline for the sail track.

Hint: To ensure the poly cord run through the sleeve easily, straighten the fold marks along the sleeve, eg open it up and sun bath it until it gets soft, ease the fold mark and cooling it down with water. In winter time, use hair dryer to warm up the fold marks and ease them. 

* the straighter the sleeve, the easier you can feed the poly cord through

 Step 4: Slide the protector cover through the sail track fitted in Step 2

Step 5: After positioned the protector cover, fit the middle strap bracket on caravan body. Align with the middle strap before fitting the bracket

Step 6: Tie the corner straps onto the awning posts to secure the awning protector cover
