Will this privacy screen fit my awning?

Measure the usable length of your awning’s sail track before ordering. This screen is 2800 mm wide × 1900 mm high and has a dual-keder edge with 5 mm and 7 mm splines, designed for sail tracks measuring approximately 6.9–10 mm.

The 10 ft awning reference is a size guide only. Awning construction and usable track length can vary, so the measured sail-track length should be used to confirm fit.

Size-selection guide: Measure the usable straight section of your awning sail track, then choose a screen width that fits within that space. Allow for awning hardware and end clearances shown in the illustration.

How to install the caravan privacy screen

1. Confirm the awning is stable and the selected keder spline matches the sail track.
2. Feed the matching spline into the open end of the awning sail track.
3. Slide the privacy screen along the track until it is positioned where required.
4. Use the side and lower D-rings with the supplied ropes and pegs to position the screen.
5. Apply even, moderate tension. Do not overstretch the fabric or anchor points.

Wind and care guidance

Remove and store the privacy screen during strong or gusty winds. Although HDPE shade fabric allows airflow, a large 2.8 × 1.9 m screen can still create significant wind load on the awning, fabric and D-ring anchor points.

Do not leave the screen flapping or overtensioned. Allow it to dry before folding, and store it in the supplied carry bag when not in use.
